After a couple of tough weeks, I’ve finally gotten back on track.
This week marked a full return to studying and training—this time aligned with my new schedule. The biggest adjustment has been the feeling that there just aren’t as many hours in the day. When I was waking up at 4 AM, by 7 I was already three hours in and had usually knocked out a big chunk of my goals. Now I wake at 7, and suddenly it’s 10 AM and I feel like the day is slipping past me.
But I know this is part of the transition. It’s just a different rhythm. I trust that, with time, this new schedule will start to feel normal and that urgency will fade.
One unexpected win? I’ve really enjoyed being able to watch football and other sports late into the evening without nodding off or feeling guilty. That’s been a big quality-of-life improvement.
I’ve got two more weeks on this plan before I re-evaluate. The most important part is that I had an idea, made a plan, and committed to giving it a real shot. That alone feels like progress.
In two weeks, I’ll know if it’s worth sticking with. But for now, I’m back on track—and that’s a win.
